TULSA — The Tulsa Police Department will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint this Saturday in the Brookside/River Parks area.
TPD will conduct the checkpoint in relation to the upcoming Memorial Day holiday with assistance from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office and the Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement Commission.
Police say the checkpoint is an effort to get intoxicated drivers off the road and reduce injuries and deaths associated with alcohol and drug-impaired driving. Read More
